About Shirley Jean Studio

At Shirley Jean Studio, we believe creativity is one of the most valuable tools a business can have. Too often, creativity is seen as an extra—something reserved for logos, colors, or making things look good. We see it differently. Creativity is how we solve business problems. It's how we simplify complexity, uncover opportunities, communicate ideas more clearly, and build experiences that help organizations grow. Every project, conversation, and solution begins with one question:

How can we use creativity to move this business forward?

Since 2016, Shirley Jean Studio has helped entrepreneurs, nonprofits, creators, and growing organizations bring their ideas to life through thoughtful strategy, intentional design, and creative problem-solving. What began as a full-service marketing agency has evolved into a creative studio specializing in brand development, creative direction, visual design, websites, marketing materials, and business resources that help organizations communicate more effectively and grow with confidence.

Whether we're building a brand, designing an experience, creating educational resources, or developing systems that support long-term growth, our work is rooted in the same philosophy: meaningful creative solutions produce meaningful business results. As Shirley Jean Studio continues to grow, so does our commitment to creating meaningful creative solutions that empower businesses, creators, nonprofits, and communities to thrive. We're building more than a portfolio of services—we're building a creative home for ideas, innovation, education, and impact.

The Heart Behind The Name

IMG_7819.jpg

Shirley Jean Studio is named in honor of my grandmother, Shirley Jean Campbell—the woman whose life continues to shape the heart of this business.

I launched Shirley Jean Studio just two months after she passed away. While she never had the opportunity to see what this business would become, her influence can be found in every part of it.

Shirley Jean was the matriarch of our family and led from a place of love, grace, and unwavering faith. Affectionately known to my sister and me as "Nana," she was one of the most influential people in my life. No matter the challenge, she approached life with a simple belief:

"When you do right, right follows you."

That belief shapes the way I live my life and guides how I have built—and continue to lead—Shirley Jean Studio today. To Nana, "doing right" meant leading with integrity, serving others with genuine intention, and trusting that when your heart and your actions are aligned, good things will follow.

She showed me that creativity is about so much more than making something beautiful. It's about finding a way forward when one doesn't seem obvious—approaching challenges with resourcefulness, grit, faith, genuine intention, and the confidence to figure things out.

That philosophy has become the foundation of my work, my leadership, and the way Shirley Jean Studio helps people move from ideas to action through creative thinking. It's a standard that shapes every partnership, every project, and every solution we create.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Briana—Founder & Creative Director of Shirley Jean Studio.

For more than 15 years, I've led marketing, communications, creative strategy, and brand initiatives across Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and community organizations. Along the way, I discovered that my greatest strength wasn't simply creating beautiful work—it was demystifying complexity, translating ideas into something people could understand, and using creativity to solve business problems.

I believe great ideas deserve to be understood. Too often, organizations have incredible ideas, products, or missions but struggle to communicate them in a way that resonates. My work is centered on bridging that gap—bringing clarity to complexity and helping businesses transform ideas into brands, experiences, and resources that people can connect with, remember, and act on.

Everything I create is filtered through the same creative lens. Whether I'm designing a brand, building a website, developing a workshop, creating a business resource, or planning an experience, my goal is the same: to solve problems, tell meaningful stories, and make complex ideas easier to understand—all while creating work that's thoughtful, visually compelling, and purposefully designed.

My goal is always the same—to leave people and organizations better than I found them.
